JOCKY Scott will send his Dundee side out to lift the ALBA Challenge Cup tomorrow to show how well they have knitted together since their high- profile summer spending spree.
His Inverness Caledonian Thistle counterpart, Terry Butcher, will be out to show his team are bouncing back after relegation from the SPL.
However, their respective assistants have another reason for wanting their clubs to lift the silverware.
This is a one-off game and I do not think either of us will set up defensively and look to hit on the break. It will be about who takes their chances better, as I am convinced there will be chances -Maurice Malpas

The 29-year-old has made it to two showpiece occasions during his career, but has endured disappointment both north and south of the border.

Caley Thistle assistant manager Maurice Malpas believes a more aggressive approach will produce a positive result against Airdrie at Caledonian Stadium this afternoon.
After the bitter disappointment of last week's Highland derby defeat by Ross County, Malpas has challenged the Inverness players to be more physical when they face Kenny Black's side.
Caley Jags had scored nine goals in their previous two First Division games before losing at Victoria Park and were unbeaten in four.

Caley Thistle assistant manager Maurice Malpas believes Stuart Golabek can provide leadership on and off the field for Inverness after rejoining the club from Ross County.
A deal for the 34-year-old was finalised on transfer deadline day after County released the left back from his contract and Caley Jags let Richard Hastings join SPL side Hamilton Accies.
It is an unexpected signing but one Malpas reckons will be beneficial to the development of the younger players at Caledonian Stadium.
Stuart was a player that we knew was available and we jumped at the chance to bring him in. -Maurice Malpas

Jocky Scott's Dark Blues have faced the Dons already this season, drawing 1-1 when the teams met at Dens Park in pre-season.
Dons skipper Kerr said: "When I saw the teams come out my initial reaction was it was a hard draw.
